Floaty Party at Brannan Island State Recreation Area

Are you looking to cool down in the summer? Come to the swim beach at Brannan Island and join the floaty party on the river. Seven Mile Slough is a very slow moving waterway and has sandy beaches. The swim beach is a natural beach on a river, and the river has silt on the bottom and vegetation along the water's edge. The beach is a popular launch for inflatables, kayak, SUP, canoes, but no motorized vessels are allowed. 

Bring a life jacket for kids or borrow one from the life jacket loaner station. BRING A FLOAT TOY (SUP, KAYAK, TUBE, INFLATABLE) FOR FREE PARK ADMISSION. ONLY ON THURSDAYS STARTING JULY 11 2024.
