Join us at The Streets of Brentwood for a fun story telling session with Sparkles the clown, exciting activities, and much more! Every Thursday through May 30th. Located at the Playhouse near the Children's Area. Thursday 5/23 10:30-11:30 am.
2. City of Oakley Memorial Day Ceremony
Join the City of Oakley Community for a morning of remembrance. Every year, the City of Oakley holds an event honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died serving in the United States Armed Forces. Located at the Oakley Recreation Center. Saturday 5/25 10-11 am.
3. Read to a Dog for Grades 1-5
Register today for a 15-minute session to build reading confidence with a therapy dog from Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Bring a book from home or choose from the library! Located at The Brentwood Library Saturday 5/25 10-11:15 am.
4. Big Break- Delta Discovery Craft
Drop in at Big Break for a nature-based craft. Saturday 5/25 11 am- 2 pm.
5. Black Birders Week- Big Break Regional Shoreline
Seek out birds living in the Delta while discussing past and current challenges faced by Black birders. Coffee and snacks, binoculars and birding books will be provided. Monday 5/27 9-11 am.
