If you're looking for a place with lots of parks, Brentwood is it! We recently visited Monarch Park in Brentwood located at 760 Bella Dr. in Brentwood and our kids had a blast!
It's located just a few minutes from Downtown and you it's right off the Marsh Creek Trail.
Some of our favorite features were that there were sizeable play structures for both little kids and big kids, which is great for a family with kids in different age ranges. It also has swings, which not every playground does these days so my kids were so excited when they saw that.
Our favorite part was the slide built into a little hill that has stone steps on each side to get to the top. It's a smaller slide so younger kids can go on it, but even my older kids loved racing up the steps and going down the slide. I even saw some other kids racing cars down the slide while we were there.
Some other things to note, it was pretty clean and well kept, it's a large park (over 2 acres), and has a grassy area, picnic tables and benches. There is plenty of shade covers over the play structures and picnic benches as well.
The only downside was there's no bathrooms. Otherwise I would have recommended this park for a birthday party spot.
All in all we loved Monarch Park and plan to be back soon!
