As a parent myself, I know the New Year's Eve parenting dilemma. You want your kids to be able to celebrate but you don't want them to stay up until midnight (mostly because you want to crash at about 9pm yourself.) So this past New Year's Eve, Macaroni KID Brentwood partnered with Sip and Scoop to host a fun, free Noon Year's Eve event for local families to celebrate together and still get the kids to bed on time.
And our community turned out!
We had a giant coloring table, a craft table, and a line out the door for $1 kid's cocoas and all of the other delicious items on Sip and Scoop's menu. We had so many people join us that we had to move the surprise balloon drop up just to help the flow of traffic.
It's safe to say, Brentwood loves family friendly events. I'm so glad we were able to bring you this first event. We will have many more to come.
